A little bit ABOUT ME. At the time of the trip, I was 19 and residing in London, where I did business with the public as a charity fundraiser. I've spent most of my life in the comfortable South of England and have had itchy feet since about the age of 15. I wanted to do this cyle trip for the spectacular scenes I'd see, the people I'd meet, the new cultures I'd observe and for the challenges I'd face.
St. Margaret's Hospice is a CHARITY I really care about; they help thousands of patients and families (including mine) to cope with life-limiting illnesses by providing physical, emotional and spiritual care. Based in Somerset, they have two hospices but also do a lot of work in the homes of patients who want to be at home at the end of their lives.
